In this free talk, I’ll discuss the benefits of home food preservation, and how to get started doing it. I’ll cover four key methods of home food preservation–canning, freezing, dehydrating and cold storing. I’ll discuss the basics of each method, including proper procedures, techniques, tools and equipment. Attendees will gain enough knowledge to get started preserving food at home with some of the simpler methods, and a well-rounded foundation for further food preservation learning.
